- I'm a recent graduate from Loyola University New Orleans majoring in music industries studies. I have gained knowledge and experience in promotion by participating on local street teams for Atlantic Records and Fancorps. Participating in street teams, I have learned the importance of increasing artist exposure through social networks, such as Myspace and Facebook, and by passing promotional material in target demographics. I have also learned about music discovery sites and blogs necessary to increase artist exposure, such as Pandora and Concreteloop.com. In addition to my experience with planning, promoting, and producing musical events, I have also gained knowledge of web applications. By combining my education and experience in the music industry, I believe I can assist in increasing exposure for artists.
