- Oz, as many know him, has been involved in entertainment in some form or fashion, since he was 9 yrs. old. From playing instruments (7 in all) to acting, stand-up comedy, singing, rap, stage and costume design, lighting, sound, and music production, Oz has been there, done that!
In 1995, Oz decided to go into directing young people and guiding their careers. This led to the formation of G H Entertainment in 1996. In 1999, Oz realized that his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA would not provide the opportunities that his artists would need to experience success so he moved his company to Atlanta, GA along with 8 performers.
After experiencing success with the music, Oz incorporated the company in 2005 and then decided to expand his operations to include modeling.
During that period, Oz used his knowledge of the industry and given his desire to create change, he decided to attack a problem if the fashion world and focus on the Mahogany Woman and
Dark Secrets Modeling was born.
Oz sees this venture as an opportunity to highly promote the African-American woman and change the paradigm, which the industry has set as standard.
In 2008, Oz along with Snapple created and launched Snap Out! Radio on blogtalkradio.com! The shows uncensored format was an immediate success and grew to 10,000 listeners in just 5 months and a nomination for the Southern Entertainment Awards Internet/Satellite Radio Station of the Year!!!
Oz has received numerous awards for his work in the Atlanta, GA and Pittsburgh, PA communities and recently was nominated himself for the 2009 Southern Entertainment Award as Internet Hustler of the Year.
